EverEdge A1 products use a stamped 1.6mm steel that is galvanize dipped prior to receiving a powder polyester coating.
The Powder coating is a process where a heavy duty polyester powder is sprayed onto the steel before it is baked in a very hot oven, a process that bonds the powder to the steel.
CORTEN STEEL C1C Corten – 125MM ( 5”)
Classic CorTen will be delivered ‘non-rusty’and will rust when left outside. Depending on weather conditions this can take a few days or a few weeks.
CorTen is designed to rust but, unlike mild steel, not break down. A layer of rust forms around the raw steel underneath, effectively protecting it from further weathering.
